Crew Training Comes to Port Whangarei

Port Whangarei has been upgraded to accommodate large superyachts up to 100m plus, particularly those who want to take advantage of the port’s internationally renowned yacht support and refit services. Oceania Yacht Agency is proud to offer its services to the Oceania region from its base within the port.

A major component of any superyacht operation are the needs of the crew and crew replacements. Our agency offers a fully comprehensive crewing service to yachts and are pleased that a new crew training establishment has set up close to the port. Safety4Training offers those all important STCW courses as well as refreshers for existing crew. Managing Director Mike Lindsey invited our Yacht Agent, Virginia Craig, to take a look at the facilities.

Situated in a brand new building they deliver the full STCW course as well as the single components as required. This type of training requires a considerable range of specialised delivery resources and we can confirm that Safety4Traning have it covered to a high standard.
